I want to purchase TV TUNER which one is good?

Both of them have their own advantages.

Internal TV Tuner- oldest kind,

most inexpensive,

most feature-rich.

External USB TV Tuner: ideal for laptops,

better video quality (because they are not interfered by the radiations of internal PC components),

ease of installation,

detect more channels.

there is also a newer type of tuner available called External Set top TV Tuner, which needs only a cable connection and a computer monitor to use. No need of the computer cabinet(cpu), just connect the monitor to the tuner and watch cable TV.

It obviously can NOT record programs, but offers best picture quality.

External tv tuner is best coz if ur computer has fault then u can also watch TV by extenal tv tuner but if u have internal tv tuner then u cant watch tv if ur computer has some defects means u can watch tv by external tv tuner if ur computer becomes defective but not in the internal tv tuner.so external is best..good companies of external tv tuner card are intex,odyssey,pinnacle but pinnacle is costly .odyssey & intex are good & cheap.
