u can slightly increase your budget then go for 12MP masterpiece it will cost u around 16800-17500

beacuse u dont but these things monthly so :

MY ADVICE: slightly increase your budget and go for IXUS 960IS . After that u dont want to think at all for 3-5 years

i mean 12MP is excellent,if u take 8MP then after 2-3 years u will want to upgrade then one thinks if that time i wish i could spend little more.

I don't about pricing in India, but this is under $350 in the US.  That would be about 14000 rs, so maybe you can find this at a price within your budget.
