  1. Hi Juhi,

If you want to go abroad for management studies you need to take the GMAT test. GMAT is important for getting admission in any good MBA program.

  2. Assuming you're thinking of studying in the US, I think you may have GRE and MBA misunderstood.

An MBA is a graduate-level degree, Master of Business Administration; whereas the GRE is an entrance examination, Graduate Record Examination, sometimes, but not always, required by graduate schools for admission -- you'll have to check the school's admission requirements.  Often required by MBA programs for admission is the GMAT, which, much like the GRE, is an entrance examination for study, the Graduate Management Admission Test.  You may also have to take the TOEFL, Test of English as a Foreign Language, before you can be admitted to a college/university here.

So, to get into an MBA program, you'll most likely have to take the GMAT.  To get into a graduate program (Master of Arts or Science, or MA or MS, degree program), you may have to take the GRE, it just depends on the school's admission requirements.  You may also have to take the TOEFL, which many institutions require of their foreign applicants; you'll have to check the school's admission requirements there, too.

    Good luck!
