  1. Im sure You can paddle anywhere but look out for the large vessels and boats.

    But if you want to be sure ring NSW Maritime


  2. Sure, it's not a problem. If you feel threatened by large craft, just stick well to the right side, and for the most part, you will be travelling in water depths that they can't even enter, and will be passing them on the correct side. Just be aware.

    You could carry on right up the harbour if you wanted to and conditions are reasonably calm. Visit Watson's Bay for lunch, drop off at Manly. Go up Middle Harbour. It's a free world!
