Should I install the appliances before the countertops? or countertop and then appliances?

Thank you!

  1.    Good question, and perhaps one that will take some research beyond us here.

The company that measures and installs, if you bring them out too soon, will measure as is.

The NEW appliances might require modifications to any existing space dedicated now. Measuring, choosing new might be the best, first step.

    Just my two "sense"

  2. definitely the counter tops first,

  3. Why don't you tile the counter tops with granite tiles.  It's cheaper and still looks great.  Then you can still afford to get some new appliances.

  4. Best thing to do is go out and buy your new appliances now, that way when people come out to measure and install counter tops, cupboards, sinks, refrigerator etc they will know EXACTLY how big a hole to make and where. Often the appliance will come with a template for cut out.
