  1. Sony recommends a specific version, but I think it's a version you have to pay for (who pays for Linux?)


  2. Sony paid for Yellow Dog Linux to be developed, but it demands 10GB of your HDD for it's needs (10GB partition). Plus you can't run it on SDTV. You can install more popular and better Linux OS, such as Ubuntu or Kubuntu. Basic computer knowledge is required to install it. USB keyboard and mouse are required.
