I want to put mirror panes on my closet doors?

But I don't know what to use to stick them on & hold them in place. They are square mirrors (12x12) with no frames, or anything on the back. I want to put them on my wooden closet doors.

Do you think carpenter's glue would be strong enough to hold them in place, without them falling off and breaking?

  1. there is a specific double sided mirror tape on the market for this and dont use anything else! its also advisable to drill (you can buy the nescessary drill bit or have them drilled where you buy glass) a hole top and bottom and using dome head mirror screws s***w them to the doors as well as using the tape...are the edges of the mirrors going to be seen? make sure to have them polished if they are!

  2. A product like "Liquid Nails" would be best, it holds very well.

  3. The best thing to do is buy mirror holders..they have a slit to hold the mirror.you will need 4 for each square...you can also hang them in diamond shape.  Use your imagination.

  4. Well Sue you are a busy girl ! ! what ever you do remember that if you want to remove the mirrors at some future date what will the door look like afterwards ! ! the corner fixings sound a good idea .

    Good luck Hun.

  5. Use double stick tape. Scotch Mounting Tape at Lowes or Home Depot.

It works very nicely for mounting mirror tiles. It's a thin foam tape, very sticky on both sides and one side is Peel 'N Stick. Put the tape where you want it, then peel the backing off when you're ready to stick it in place.

It comes in one inch wide rolls x 125" long -- also probably longer.

    This one says "Cat 314/DC"

    Good luck.
