I want to put my 9 month old daughter's hair in a small pony tail... What can I use to help it stay in place?

I don't know exactly how I feel about using styling products in her hair, as I don't want to ruin it. So I'm looking for something I can use to help keep her fine hair in the rubber band. She has beautiful blonde hair, but it's still fairly short and it's so fine!

Are there any products that are ok to use in kids hair?

  1. I wouldn't advise hair products? Some water every now & then should do it x

  2. I would personally call that stupidity putting hair spray in your 9 month old daughters hair.

  3. You might try the little bows that are on velcro clips. You can find them at Claire's.

When my little girl was 9 months I would sometimes put a little bit of baby oil in her hair. I would think anything on the baby isle would be safe.

    Good luck.

  4. Try buying hair ties for babies-they come in extra small sizes and can be found in the baby section. Her hair may not be long enough so just let it grow out!

Littles kids are always running around so don't get too paranoid if it gets a little messy : )

  5. the only thing I suggest is water or babyoil maybe baby lotion and small clips and hair ties hope it helps that's what I do with my daughter. But make sure to wash her hair every time you bathe her especially with oils and lotions in her hair but make sure the products are made for babies.

  6. seriously, good luck. if u find anything, let me know. my daughter is 3 and still won't keep her hair up. i dunno bout hair products for kids, i think its luck with most people. luck that i don't have either. just have to bear with it

  7. Um my little sister is the same way.

    Try just hairspray.

Don't use any gel or hair waxy stuff as they're always to strong and dry out ur hair wrose than hairspray will..

  8. If you're doing it for fashion than use headbands and things like that, don't use products.

  9. you can buy really tiny rubber bands (literally they can fit

on your pinky) at CVS, Wallgreens, Walmart, or

    Rite Aid.

i wouldnt recommend hair products for a 9 month old child.

but you can always try different sorts of infant barrets &

    teeny clips.

    hope this helped:D
