I want to put my bedroom in the basement?

ya, u read the top, but i dont think my mom will say yes, cuz i share a small room w/ my sis, and i'm like a clean freak, and she just throws stuff around the room, so i wanna move into the basement, and i think i should, cuz i've been majorly cleaning it, so how do i convince my mom?

The first thing to do would be bring it up with her. Tell her just what you told us here. If there is a spot that you can use there it would be a good idea. Might need to earn a few bucks to paint or something. It could be fun. We had rooms in the basement in a couple of places, they are cool in summer and warm in winter.The only problem I remember is that is was hard to wake up sometimes because there wasnt much light.

There are spiders down there, and no sunlight. But it would be good for sleeping. Tell your mom it is hard to share a room with someone who is messy, and you feel like your getting nowhere when you clean. Then tell her this will teach your sister how to be more responsible of keeping her own room clean.
