i meant firewire for macs or what ever they are for, not enough room

  1. the "hybrid" camcorder can record video to 2 media, one usually being a memory card, the other DVD or HDD. some tiny camcorders record to memory card only.  your computer needs a card reader, or sometimes these also communicate by USB.
