  1. You could try getting a tutor or going to a class, but that never helped me.

Have you been doing the practice tests consistently?  Your score won't just increase by 100 points after doing 2 or 3 practice tests.  You have to do a lot of them and consistently so that you give yourself time to improve.  My advice would be to just stick with the practice tests.  Try to do 3 practice tests a week.  As long as you keep practicing, there's no way your score won't go up.   My score increased by 400 points after I did practice tests every week for 2 months.  When you check your answers, try to understand why you got it wrong and then remember that for next time.

What book are you using?  I'd recommend getting Collegeboard's Official SAT Study Guide. There are a lot of SAT prep books, but Collegeboard's worked the best for me. They're the ones who make the SATs so their practice exams are most like the real ones. There are other SAT guides as well, but none of them come as close to the real SATs as Collegeboard's. Princeton Review and Kaplan tend to be easier than the real SATs and Barron's tends to be harder. I like Collegeboard's book the most, but a lot of my friends liked Barron's because it was harder so they felt that if they could get high scores on Barron's practice tests, they'd definitely do well on the real SATs.  You can't go wrong with either Collegeboard's study guide or Barron's study guide.  Be patient and keep working at those practice tests and try to understand why you got certain questions wrong.

    Good luck!

  2. go to princeton or kaplan or sum tutoring place...math part is basic..learn algebra n all..ull do fine..have a tutor..it helps

  3. First off, it's so very feasible to raise 100 points, in fact even 200. Think about it, you have the whole entire (3 months) of summer left of you. Reading, just memorize tons of words. It's a pain in the *** but if you want it bad enough you will go through the pain of memorizing words. You should average 50 words a and continue to review them. Also, for math, Math I believe is all about practice. I think everyone who has taken up to Advanced Algebra should recieve at least a 700 if they truly put all the effort into their studying for the SAT Math. However, it will take time. Be patient.
