I want to re-decor my room! Funky and Disco Style?

Question

Any ideas of what I can do? (please post links of cool lamps and furniture and stuff)

I also like pink, and my 2nd fave. color is purple. I was thinking of a shag rug that is pink. YOUR IDEAS? Thanks. By the way I am thirteen and I also like music.

If you want funky stuff. Then you should maybe paint your walls with more than 1 color. Maybe 2 walls a bright pink, and 2 walls a funky, fun purple.

If you have hardwood floors in your room, then I recommend a flokati rug. But you don't have to have hardwood floors to use a flokati. They are really soft and come in bright colors:

lol! i'm 12 and i re-did my room, and b4, my room was funky. i painted my walls a lavendar color and i bought a huge pink stereo and i put a pink feather boa on top of it. my dressers and end table and stuff were all baby pink. around my mirror i cut out magazine clippings to make it look rockstar-ish! i had a purple fuzzy rug and i put lots of mag clippings of rockstars on the wall and i taped on some posters too! i loved that room!

If you want a funky still retro or 80's style will work. A old record player would look cool. Maybe light blue room. A disco ball spotty Mats and whatever else you can think of.
