  1. Maybe paint it white with a red accent wall. You could use stencils and spray paint your team name and a volleyball on the walls. Or if you can find a cheap volleyball net you could stretch that across a wall. Pillows shaped like volleyballs would also look cool.

    Good luck!

(You have more options than I do! Our colors are green, gold, and white. We're called the Huskers and our mascot is corn.)

  2. Do you go to Neenah?

I answered this question yesterday and I really like the idea of using old balls and making floor lines:

"If you have wood floors, you could lay vinyl lines in your room to match a gym floor. Make sure it's vinyl tape though or you could ruin your floor. You could also paint a net on the wall, carefully. If you use tape and are patient, this can be done easily. Don't rush and remove tape before paint dries. This project will take about 2 weeks if done right.

If you have some old balls, you could cut them in half (carefully!) and secure them to the wall. If you halve them, you have twice as many balls on your wall and it's easier to stick them on the wall. To do this (Get your parent's to help):

    1. Cut the balls in half (If you don't have any, ask around the local YMCA for old balls they don't need anymore.)

    2. Buy some large styrofoam-like balls at a craft store. (Like the ones that anchor fake flower arrangements)

    3. Cut them in half too.

    4. Place the half of styrofoam-like material inside the half of the ball. You may need to trim with sandpaper (do this outside or in a room you can clean easily. (This will make the ball look like it's blown up.)

    5. Cut a piece of wood in a circle so you can staple the ball's rubber to the edge. But don't do it yet.

    6. Nail the wood circle to the wall.

    7. Staple the ends of the half circle ball to the edge of the wood with just a few furniture staples. (You might want to paint the staples white when you're done.)

There's also things like light switches shaped like volleyballs that you can buy to accent your room. These accents would work with both themes.

You can do all of this pretty cheap if you just ask around. I can see this being done for less than $50.00 and maybe, if you promise that doing work like this, you will also clean your room, maybe your parents will consider the $50.00 an investment."

That is word for word what I answered yesterday. With a little creativity, you can do almost anything.
