  1. it's all biased, after all we are talking about religion, one of the few things men are willing to die or kill over.  read everything you can and read about the actual history of christianity.  More important than knowing the actual belief structure is knowing the source of this structure and why it was created in the first place.

  2. it's really impossible to find nonbiased books about the christian faith, because they will either be written by a christian, or a nonchristian.

But I would recommend "Blue Like Jazz" by donald miller

I've known many nonchristians who have enjoyed it greatly.

If you want to find some yourself, check www.christianbook.com

  3. The Bible , works by C.S.Lewis , Josephus , et .al. <(((><

    :0)

  4. God's Eonian purpose by A E Knoch is very good, will tell you a lot about the history of christianity you will never hear about in the confines of a church.

  5. There are  set of videos/dvd's.

They are a set of four.  The title is called 'Christianity.'  It's a good documentary about Christianity that wasn't compiled by a Christian, but sticks to the facts.

Volume.1 - Christianity The First Thousand years.

Volume.1 - Christianity The Second Thousand Years.

Volume.2 - Christianity The First Thousand Years.

Volume.2 - Christianity The Second Thousand Years.

That may be useful.  You can probably get them on ebay or something.
