  1. I used to run my PS2 through my video via the av channel because I was short on scart inputs through my tv and could record through that , I'm sure the same would work if u passed the signal through the av input of a DVD recorder.

  2. Alright, the only true way to do is if you are willing to pay quite a lot of money to do it.

I would say a TVCard like the one from Turtle Beach (turtlebeach.com); its about $100 rounded up, plus, if you want to make things like machinima's, the voices are better if you record them with an audio recording program, which, they would need to come to your house to do. So, you are looking to spend about $150+ if you are wanting to make good machinmas on the TV. (TVCARD+AudioSurgeon+RecordingHeadset+) [Headset to record, audio surgeon to remove unwanted noise, and a program (Windows Movie Maker is less expensive and will work) to move the audio into the movie, and place it at the scene you want.

  3. Ok what you want to get is a capture card. It just depends on how much you want to spend. I bought my Gamebridge on amazon for about 20 bucks but I doubt they are that price anymore. It may look cheap but it is really good. I have made a few videos with it and I love it. I would also recomend a dazzle capture card which can be purchased from Best Buy. You would also need a video editing program. If you have windows..Windows movie maker should already be on your computer. If you want a good movie maker I would recomend Sony Vegas 7 (which is about 600 bucks)
