Question:

I want to recycle used ink ribbons that were used on old dot matrix printers. Where can I send them?

To be specific, these ink ribbons were used on Epson LQ-590 printers and now I have stack of used ribbons. Selling them or trading them would be great but I mostly just want to get rid of them. They're not authentic Epson ribbons. I include this because I know that Epson has a recycling program but they only take Epson products for recycling. Anybody got any clues?

  1. check local council offices, local schools were collecting ink cartridges so were banardos

  2. If I had those ribbons I'd call an office supply store like Staples, Office Depot, Office Max, etc.  Some of them are helping with recycling programs now.   It's a shot in the dark, but worth a try.

Also, does your City or County sponsor any kind of recycling programs?  May be worth a call there.

Hope you find someplace that will take them.

  3. You can get on www.craigslist.com and find a location to recycle those items.  Have a good day. :)
