I want to redo my room in black and white..?

Question

i want to be sophisticated.i want the type of pattern with black and white and flowers.i also like the pattern with the ladys and kids.i don't know...

i don't think im going to repaint my room.but,its a light green.

does anyone know where i can get things for my room.

and please don't say PBteen.

i saw some really cute bedspreads at three different stores:kohls, target, and walmart...i dont remember where i saw the bedspread with black and white flowers but it was soooo cute and there was matching bathroom stuff (shower curtain,etc.)

You need a large room and sleek furniture to pull off a black/white color scheme.  Too many people try, and only have it come off as amateurish.

That being said, paint your room "Navajo White" (Sherwin-Williams, I think) get rid of ALL the clutter in your room!!  As someone else said, go to Kohl's (or JC Penney's) and get a black and white bedspread.  If you can, paint your furniture a satin black. (NOT shiny!!) Pick out an accent color, (red is a good contrast) and put throw pillows of black, white and your accent color on the bed.  Buy drapes of the accent color.  

Buy a vase of black, and buy flowers of white and your accent color.

It should be stunning.  Remember, DO NOT let clutter accumulate in your room.  Think of how the rooms look in magazines.  No clutter.

I wouldn't repaint your room - light green will look lovely with black and white bedding.

You might mean French Toile: http://www.beyond-bedding.com/black-toil... there are many variations so do a search to find more options, there are plenty out there.

Ooh! If you can afford it, get one of those black and white checkerboad tiles for your floor. That would be nice with the green and flowers. It'll be like a vintage room so that would be nice! Or get a bed set. i've seen stuff like Black with white swirly designs that look really nice and the kind of stuff I would buy (what's in is my last resort for designs and fashion.)
