There are many, many companies in the US that supply that service. Just look up on the web under expat mail forwarding. When you sign up with a mail forwarding company, they will tell you that you will need to download a USPO form to fill out that authorizes the mail forwarding company to accept mail on your behalf. Then the mail forwarding company will forward your stuff to you at your foreign address. Also, there are many countries that have offices set up to do not only pickup from the US, but deliver direct to your door. bypassing the local mail service, giving you even more security. There is also DHL, FedEx and UPS, but are very expensive. There are many different prices and types of services. Good Luck!!

Certainly you can have a P.O. Box.  All you need to do is to go to the Post Office that is near your home, fill out the form and I do believe that you need to pay an annual fee.  I don't remember what is the annual because it will vary from city to city and from state to state.
