  1. Yikes a couple months will run you up a pretty hefty bill, considering you'd be paying minimum probably $50 a day. Hertz or Enterprise would be a good place to start. Why not consider another form of transportation since you'll only be there for a short time (but too long for a car rental) like a bus? Or use the money you'd spend on a rental (probably at least $3000) and buy yourself a used car.

  2. I'm not sure if this helps, but I will be visiting LA and reserved a rental car for a week and a day for $160.95.  I went with Payless car rental.

  3. As far as i know, this is a question with many different answers,it is really depend on the judgement of yourself, provide a great resource here for reference though.http://car-insurance.easyideas4u.info/ca...

  4. 2 or 3 months?   its gonna cost you some major change..  you might want to consider buying a cheap used car  and then sell it when your done.  Otherwise rentals  will run you anywhere from 40 to 150 a day.

  5. Go to National Car Rental and book it online. will be about 500- 600 per month

  6. Most car rental agencies will require you to bring the car back approx. every two weeks.  So if you rent you may want to choose an agency with lots of offices.

You may be able to lease a car short-term for less than it would cost to rent.

  7. Renting from one of the major rental companies will be extremely expensive.  Consider trying a company such as Rent-A-Wreck. This company is mainly made up of used car dealerships that also rents cars that are on their lot.  They would be in a better position to offer you a reasonably priced long term automobile rental.
