Any English speaking Links would be superb.

I would like to know which districts are the best for my long stay.

I would prefer somewhere clean, relaxing, good views, friendly and close to the airport if possible.

  1. Sorry to tell you this but Toulouse is full of drunks.

Seriously... they are a pain.  And they try and grope and kiss the student girls.

They call Toulouse The pink city cause lots of the buildings are from pinkish stone.

My sister had a 2 bedroom flat there.  She got it as she enrolled.  She had gone over a few weeks beforehand but couldn't find anything.  Landlords made themselves available come the new student signup period.. but you have to be quick.  Get a smaller place in the center rather than a bigger place in the suburbs imo.

  2. Yes, so there are some dunks in Toulouse, but I've never seen it as badly as you describe it!  Okay, maybe you see that kind of stuff during the Toulouse night life which I avoid, but just know that it isn't quite like that in the daytime.

Your best bet to get any worthwhile information on what you need to know about Toulouse and its surrounding areas, as an English speaking person, is to contact the association Americans in Toulouse through its wed site www.americansintoulouse.com.  Many people who are a part of the association a probably currently on vacation, but I'm sure that someone could help you.

    Cheers
