I want to sale some land …need advise on how I can do it ... ?

One of my uncles gave me some undeveloped land……its not that big…and its in a residential area ….I wanted to sale it….. For lets say $5000.00… what would I need to know or do …to do so ….the deed or title is clean…I just don’t want to deal with all that….the property in that area to build ….goes for around 6 to 7 thousand …if anyone has knowledge of real estate sales I sure can use the advise….thanks

id list it with a reality company. i found someone through word of mouth that did it for 300bucks. he took care of everything .

First of all in order to sell it is a huge head ache. You didn't mention where the land was located. Also the infrastructure. What is the buildup area. How many floors are permitted and is it registered under the manucipality. Place an ad on the news paper but do your home work for. Most people sell there land per Sq. Ft.  It all really depends on location and what it has to offer to an interested purchaser.

Call a realtor and discuss the matter with a professional.

.    Buy a For Sale sign at Home Depot or Ace.  Put the price and the size of the lot in bold letters.  You don't want any calls from someone who only has $500.  When you get calls, decide in advance if you want the whole $5,000 in cash.  You do want all cash.  If they can't find $5,000 today, they won't pay you in payments either.  Call the city and ask if there are any zoning restrictions. Put those in writing on a plain piece of paper along with the purchase price when you find a buyer.  Take that paper to a local escrow company.  THey will charge you $800 to handle your sale.  You better raise the price.
