I want to save a "flash object" from a web page to my computer..

but that web page is entirely created by using FLASH PLAYER..

(just like a flash e card)

how can I save it to my computer??

yes, I do have flash player installed on my pc.

but I don't know how to save that activity.. (flash object)

plz help..

  1. There are .swf to .fla converters that work marvelously well.

    First you need to acquire the .swf file.  You can view html source through IE 7: View->Source

    Do a find for: '.swf'

    You may have to have a little understand of HTML to see where the code lies.  Usually it is inside of the embed and/or object tags.  Looks something like 'src="http://www.site.com/flash/movie.sw...

    Copy and paste that whole thing into the address bar.  YOu should see the movie by itself then click File->Save As.  It should save as movie.swf to your desktop.

    Then acquire the SWF decompiler:

    This is the best I have used.  It costs $$$ but uh ..... yeah (wink, wink)


  2. first of all its created using flash not flash player. and second of all its saved as an .swf file which does not let you have access to the .fla things like flash objects inside. you can save the whole .swf file or just not save anything. please pick for best answer
