I want to see if I can make 44'X22' swimming pool smaller by at least half.?

I know it's possible from reading the answers, but this is a really big pool. I'd like to cut it in half. The pool is 20 years old, the liner is only 1 year old. the filter is based on the large pool and i know i would have to get a new one as well as new piping.

If your pump & filter are working, don't get new.

We have taken many liner pools and changed them into beautiful concrete pools.

We recently formed a wall in the middle of a large pool (just like building a new pool).

We then filled in the void with clean dirt (no roots, etc.)

The remaining liner walls have steel tied & concrete is then blown in, tile &  plaster.

New pool!
