  1. We sat upstairs and had front row seats, they were greats seats and saw all of the show very well.

The nearest tube stop is Covent Garden.

If your getting the tube then you would be on the district line, i would stay on there until Embankment and then change to the northern line and get off at Leicester Sq and then its a short walk to Covent Garden,

The tube stop there at CG is very busy and is a nightmare to get in and out of, where LS is a lot easier. They are due to start work on CG tube station and therefore they will be closing the tube station down early during the week.

I live in Brighton so i got the train to Victoria and then the tube up to CG.

I think our tickets cost £50p/p for our seats, i would of preferred to be downstairs as you get characters going past you and you are right in the action of the show, though the seats there are expensive if your near the front which is where you would need to be for a good view.

  2. I've been to see Lion King twice! It was amazing!

The first time we sat down stairs & second time up stairs.

Both were wicked. Its the type of show that you can sit anywhere & still find it amazing!

The upstairs seats were cheaper & we got a really good deal on www.lastminute.com  We had a meal & theatre tickets for something stupid like 40 pounds!

I cant give you directions as we just got the tube & i dont know Dagenham but i guarantee you will enjoy the show!♥ღ♥

  3. The Lion King is a very good production, full of movement and brilliant costumes. i have seen it a few times, and i sat at the back in the middle. It is better to sit as close as you can and central but yes its a brilliant performance, one for all the family too

  5. It's a fantastic show, visually stunning with wonderful music.  I sat right up the back in the top gallery (what I'd call the "nosebleed" seats) and the only complaint I had about sitting up there was the heat, we could see perfectly well.

To get there from Dagenham, take the District line to Embankment, change to the Northern and get off at Leicester Sq.  Don't bother changing to the Piccadilly line to Covent Garden - it takes literally two minutes to walk, and Covent Garden station can be unbelievably crowded, much better to avoid.
