Do you know anyone who has done this? what steps did they take? a website with some info would be helpful too. the supplement is a cream with vitamins that improves tightness and elasticity of skin. believe it or not, it trims a few inches off the waistline for 6 hours, just by firming up the skin. I want to sell this cream, but i dont know what steps to take

  1. Supplements are not regulated by the FDA, so you should have no problems selling it.  However, you need to get a patent for it, or someone will steal your idea!

  2. I dont think you can claim that you product will treat or cure a disease because that would make it a drug, but dietary supplements and creams are largley unregulated. It shouldnt be too hard to sell your product.

  3. Believe it or not, herbal supplements are not regulated by the FDA. You should have no problem making a web-site and selling your product on the site.

  4. u may see an advocate to file ur papers for patent rights. u need a valid license to manufacture it duly submitted by a qualified herbalist/ayurveda graduate.

patent rights are different from seeking manufacturing license.
