  1. HI there...

Well, there is only one way to know... and that is to take in your horns and ask them.  Go to several shops as each manager may offer different amounts.  I don't think you are asking too much for them and I think it is worth a try to ask.

Also,  you can do trade in at a pawn shop.. or at least in my area you can.  If you see something in the pawn shop you like....you might ask to trade your horns for that item.  You would probably have to pay a difference in cash... but you would still get a good deal on the item you want.

Thanks for reading and good luck with it.

  2. If you have any stores around you which sell musical instruments (and I don't mean Target/WalMart), they often also buy instruments. Check around for local music teachers, too - they often know the local market. Craigslist is another good choice, since it's free to use. And you can always ask at the pawn shop about price - you don't HAVE to accept their offer.

  3. When you sell to a pawn shop, they don't let you decide the selling price, they decide.

Btw, if you want to get the amount your asking for, sell on Ebay or Craigslist.

  4. The pawn shop's goal will be to pay u as little as possible for the instruments. There are better ways to sell ur instruments.

  5. I dunno... pawn shops buy for really cheap. it would be better to sell on ebay.
