Ive been taking photos for about a year now, and have bought myself a Nikon d80 and learnt myself, do you think any of my photos are good enough to sell yet, or do i need more practice? Just a few of my photos here, http://www.flickr.com/photos/squance/

  1. I think they are pretty interesting but something about them looks a little fake or something. I agree, don't photo shop them, let them be your original pictures. You have a good eye for interesting things though.

  2. You should ease off the photoshop.

  3. you have an eye for photography just take more and more pic and youl get better.

  4. Ahh... I see you're a master at HDR. I definately think you have potential. Go ahead and try selling them.

  5. Some of them are slightly over processed and you've lost a bit too much light. The best one is the second one of the derelict church in color, it's excellent.

If you can make them all to that standard, then yes, there could be a market for your work.

  6. they are beautiful photos

i believe you could try to cell a few of them the skys are amazing!

some look as thought they could be on post cards to me

    good work keep it up

  7. Some are a little over processed. Ease up on the photoshop a bit..

  8. the pictures are nice

i say that you are ready to sell them if you have clients

if the market doesen't buy them then you need to work some more

  9. Interesting work.  Give it a shot.  There may be a market.

    BTW, you misspelled "bale."

  10. Are they good enough to sell- yes.  Try submitting them to some stock agencies.  But the question is for what purpose would someone buy these photos. I don't think any of them would be marketable as wall hangings.  But they may work great as illustrations in the right novel.

  11. Not bad.  Not bad at all.  The one of the hay bail reminds me of an old cyanotype I saw once.  I like it.  Don't over process.  I like the creative look though.  As far as selling.....who knows.  It depends on what editors are looking for.  As art prints I would say yes.  You have a good eye and nice visualization.
