Go to www.sellersathome.com it will give you a free chance to open an ebay account. That should work, try that.

Try http://www.craigslist.org first under your city and state. The ads are free and you don't have to ship, since you can deal with local people.

Well you won't get much for it if you have never sold before, people aren't going to pay you alot of money if you have no feedback.  You have to build a reputation, if you want to sell it now find a friend or relative that has a good standing account.  If you can wait a few months then sell 5-10 small cheap things just to get some positive feedback.  Like cds or something.  Just be sure to describe any flaws like scratches.

I agree with blahblah i wouldn't buy from anyone without at least 10 feed backs. If this was a highend laptop i would need even more.

Craigslist is a good idea as it's face to face.
