I want to send Sky/dvd signal to a tv upstaires without pullin all floors up for a cable?

Hi guys, basically i have sky HD/DVD games console etc in the middle floor of my house. I also have a plasma up in my bedroom and want to run the sky/dvd signal to it.. At the mo i used a wireless system but is only about 7/10 for picture quality

I am also instaling an lcd in the kitchen downstaires..

So my question is, is there any way of sending the sky signal/ dvd thought the house without having to rip all my carpets and chisel out my walls?

Thought of maybe converting to Cat5 then piggybacking the mains??

there is a sender unit and reciver that you can buy to digitaly transfer the siginal,i think it works like wifi on the computer.

i saw them on e-bay ,about 35 pound i think
