i want to send a large package to the philippines from england

how do i send it? with whom? and how?

anyone from the philippines living here in england who has sent package home who may be able to help.

i am also married to a filopino

Ok, some irrelevant information there....

Just weigh the package, and measure its dimenions and look up on www.royalmail.co.uk

There's also UPS which delivery to the US. Such things as DHL and Parcelforce, I'm not sure if they're international. But check out their websites and they'll tell you.

Or, just take the package to your local post office and they will tell you what you need to do.

Ask at the post office, or get quotes from any and all international courier companies you've seen driving around your neighbourhood: DHL, Loomis, FedEx, Purolator, UPS, etc. - They'll handle anything that can fit on a 4 foot by 4 foot by 8 foot skid / pallet with ease.

If you're sending a car, or the contents of an apartment (flat), you might need to arrange for a 'container', to be shipped by air or sea.  Choose an airline or freighter company, then ask about their cargo services.

don't use DHL. (delivered it, hidden it and lost it!)

Just use royal mail!

I use to always use royal mail when posting anything to my wife

Probably use a delivering service, such as UPS. Go there and talk to them and they'll help you out. I'm not exactly sure how big it is, but I'm imagining something like an arcade cabinet... But for your best bet and safety of the package, talk to UPS.
