  1. carrier pigeon,

  2. Don't use regular post , the majority of the parcels never arrive.

The most reliable and the ONLY allowed courrier to Cuba is DHL ( Fedex, UPS and others are not allowed = embargo)

Never send something with food , food may not enter the country. Note that every parcel is fully inspected , don't include money or jewels. If you send items of value an invoice is needed and custom duty may be applicable.

If you want to send food use this website

http://www.envioregalos.com. A reliable site , you can pay

with visa and the goods out of their online supermarket are

distributed all over Cuba from a central warehouse in Havana.

  3. I am from Cuba but live in Switzerland now. I always send my parcels by our normal postal service and until now ALL parcels arrived in Cuba. Sometimes after 2 weeks and sometimes after 2 months (depends to which part of the country it goes).

Some friends of mine use DHL though.

Anyways, don't send stuff that can't be in a parcel for weeks (fresh food etc.). And always assure it.

  4. use UPS couriers they delivered for me and i got a excellent service and it was fairly cheap

  5. DHL is one of the best and safest couriers to use for Cuba. It will get there safely and in good time.

  6. DHL, Fedex, UPS or British Postal.

Some times Airlines do accept parcel as cargo if it is little bigger in volume such that the courier will be expensive.*
