  1. The fact is, as someone else has said, that the moment you create a piece of writing you are the owner.  That said, there is nothing much you can do to keep someone from claiming they wrote it after you put it out there.  There is something called the "poor man's copywrite", which is mailing a copy of the poem to yourself then not opening it to preserve the evidence of the postmark but that supposes that you would be willing to hire a lawyer and pay the court costs to sue someone over it.  It's really not worth it.  Keep in mind that you are a poet, that means the poems will never stop coming and if some jerk lays claim to one of yours it's because they can't do the same thing.  Now, I have to say that this kind of thing doesn't happen often because people on these sites tend to believe (often wrongly) that their stuff is better than yours, anyway.  If you really believe in your work, a better way to let it see the light of day is to send it to print journals.  You can find descriptions of what sort of poetry they publish in Poet's Market, either from a bookstore or library and submit it to those.  Be sure you find publications that would consider the sort of poetry you write.  NEVER, EVER, put a copywrite  indication on your work when you do that.  If it is selected for publication that sets your copywrite and to indicate that you have somehow established a formal (rather then natural) copywrite is considered a mark of an amateur (a noob in modern gaming parlance.)   I wish you well on this journey.  I understand the need to have your work seen.  Just be sure that it is the tightest, clearest, most imaginative writing you are capable of, that it is completely free of typos, and follows exactly the submission guidelines of the publication you submit to.  Good luck.

  2. when you share it, tell them that you are the one who wrote the poem

  3. make lot of twist nd turns in your poems...

hv some special key words in your poem, which is used by no one else..so that ur poem readers can recognise u very soon without ur name written,by the side....if incase any1 copies it,ur poem readers can detect them

  4. There are websites like www.fictionpress.com that allow you to post your own fiction under a pen name. It automatically becomes copyrighted to you so no one is allowed to copy it, and it's under your own name and people can see it's written by you. You can get reviews and feedback and stuff. Hope this helps :) x
