I want to shave my pubes?

Question

How would i go about preparing for it? I have a Gillette Fusion Electric razor....i think i'd feel more comfortable without the bush down there....and i think girls would prefer it too.

Nothing to prepare, just put on the shaving lotion and start shaving.  You will find out later it might not be the best thing to do when it starts growing back and itches.  Also the sweat and smell will be much greater without the hair.  Experiment and find out for yourself.

Yeah girls prefer shaved. I would advise you not to shave too much: you'll have more hair growing around the pubic area. Like on your thighs, so be careful with that.

Do not shave against the growing direction: it could give you things that looks like zits: ingrown hairs.

It is not as smooth but, hey would u rather have something that looks like a zit (gross) or little bit of hair?

Dude. Shaving your balls is appropriate. DO NOT USE AN ELECTRIC RAZOR( for many reasons).

Just use a Mach 3 or something. Be careful. Go slow. You'll have to stretch the skin a little to get all the hair folicals.

TRIM, don't SHAVE! You will be itching all day! I would know!!! I did it once and i'm never going back there again.

just use a sensetive or gentle soap or shaving cream in the shower and start shaving it. be VERY careful not to cut anything ro it could hurt. as funny as it sounds the best way to make sure you dont cut yourself is to give yourself a ***** so that the skin is pulled tight. sounds wierd but is effective.

as a girl i prefer it after the gardener has been. i dont like bushes lol.

plus it can make it appear bigger.

after you will probably get a shaving rash but its nothing bad. maybe just a little itchy or uncomfortable for a day or two.

once you start you will have to keep it up. just know that. :P

Some girls like and some do not. That is purely opinion. But it does make it easier in terms of cleanliness and she will appreciate the care you take into it. Here is a site with good instruction.

Hi Jason

First of all trim the hairs very short so that they don't pull when you start to shave them.

Then I would prefer to use a normal razor for the s*****m, (balls bag) as this would be hard with an electric razor. So plenty of shaving foam and then a sharp clean razor for the s*****m.

You can use the electric razor for the lower part of your abdomen, pelvic area without a problem.

No aftershave though that will sting too much.

Honestly, I hate guys that have a bush!  I am a girl and I prefer to be bald down there.  to me pubes trap smells and not good ones.  Plus i think my guy looks better very trimmed or bald.  I would say trim first then use your razor, but lather up for sure.  also afterwards you might want to get a lotion for sensitive skin and put it down there so you don't get all bumpy and irritated!  Best of luck it takes some getting use to!!! :)

The best way to shave down below, especially if there is alot of growth, is to trim the growth with scissors so that when you use your razor, it doesnt clog it up so much. also shaving foam helps to shave without getting nicks and cuts.

Ok first of all DONT use an electric.

That will hurt, alot, and leave all kinds of little red bumps that will get infected and make it look like you have an STD.

Second, dont shave it, when it grows back in, and it will, it will be like sandpaper and you will not be able to shave it agian until it gets longer.

Imagine having sandpaper under your crotch and between your legs, its horrible and there isnt anything you can do about it.

If you want to lose the bush, just trim it, get scissors and clip it till its short, sure it takes longer but it looks better and is way more manageable.

Scissor it as short as possible first, then lather up and make sure the skin is taught and as flat as possible when shaving.  I would recommend non-mechanical razors, as doing it with an electric would personally make me very nervous since it seems like more cutting power=less control, but if you've got the guts, then go for it, I guess.

However, I would recommend just a short trim rather than shaving, as when it grows back, it's kinda itchy, plus it seems to grow back thicker if you shave it.

I prefer not to shave, but to trim close. If you do shave it's best to use a wet razor and shaving foam.

The first few times shave in the same direction that your hair grows so you dont get ingrown hairs. I use a mach 3 in the shower it works great. do not use an electric. good luck
