I want to ship my car to SA. Can someone pls tell me how sa customs work?

I've got the prices from the UK, but need to prepare myself for when it gets to SA on all expensis. Pls any info will be appreciated.

Just WHERE in South America are you going?  That can have a big difference in price.

Check with DHL and see if they will ship it for you.  Getting a car through customs in any foreign country TAKES AN AGENT... you can't do it yourself... so be prepared to  pay for that service too.

You can expect to pay almost as much to ship that car to another country as you paid for it to begin with... I don't know why people ship a car to any foreign country when they can BUY ONE THERE for less... but then... it's your money and you can throw it away if you wish... but it's a bad choice.
