I want to shop online, but I worry about shipping prices?

When I buy an item online, does shipping really ding you? I now live in an isolated area and I don't know much about online shopping.

Is it more benefical to buy large items, small items, or many items from one place? If I buy a stroller online... would they ding me another $100 in shipping?

Well, you do have to really pay attention to shipping/handling charges.  Especially sellers on eBay.  

Just be sure to check the fine print when buying on-line and you should be fine.

Sometimes if you make large purchases shipping could be free.  I did most of my Christmas shopping on line.  I figured by the time I drove to different stores I would spend more on gas than I would shipping.  Plus it saved me a whole lot of time and hassle which is worth paying the shipping.
