I want to sign up to an online poker room and i was wondering which is the best one

i would say i am an intermediate poker player and i am looking for a site that has good low limit Sit N' Go's and MTT's as i prefer to play tournament rather than cash. I want a site that has alot of fish! and it doesn't have to be open to US players. Does anyone have any sites they reccomend. I currently play at titan poker but want a change

Poker Stars is SAID to have the best players overall.  But there are still lots of fish.  The trouble with these online sites is that they are assessing your play programmatically and they seem to punish superior play.  I'll give you a few examples:

I play tight/aggressive, which is considered by many to be the best style of winning poker.  But on Joker Stars, I get say pocket Q's and raise 4X the BB preflop.  FIRST off, I'm going to get two or three callers, because people KNOW that Poker Stars pays off bad hands.  So, K 2 off calls me as does A 6 off and maybe 4 3 suited.  What do you do?  LOL!

If I had to guess, 43 suited is going to be the one to beat me.  But Joker--er, I mean POKER--Stars ALWAYS has a backup plan.  I guarantee you that your Q's are going to go down, but what if 4 3 suited didn't call.  The flop will STILL come 4 3 A or 4 3 K.  It's CLASSIC Joker Stars!  Whatever your pocket pair, the board will flop one over card and someone has that card.

Can you tell that I hate online poker?  :-)

The bottom line is that it is ALL controlled by computers, computer programmers, and algorithms.  There is NOTHING random about online poker.  The outcomes are not 100 percent predetermined, but Joker Stars is very good about getting the result they want, which is crappy players and crappy hands winning.  

Pay attention to what they do to you!  I defy you to tell me that it's random.

I, too, prefer tournaments over cash games.  I have played at a lot of online sites, but I always find myself playing the most at PokerStars.  There are just so many players and there are constantly new games starting. There are tons of low limit SNGs starting from a dollar -- and anywhere from 9 people to 180 person SNGs at any amount you want to play.  They also have plenty of low limit huge MTTs.  And then, if you get lucky, there are plenty of higher limit games.  I chopped a $55 MTT for a little less than 12K and then chopped an $11 MTT less than a week later for almost $4K more, which opened up lots of other games for me.  I can't say there are necessarily "a lot" of fish on pokerstars -- but there are somewhere in the neighborhood of 100,000 players online any time I log in -- they can't all be pros if you know what I mean.  Good luck.

I freeroll on several sites. Pokerstars has the worst freerolls and the worst low limit play cash tables. After you get over 10k its safer to go to the larger limit tables where the play is more like real play.But the big name internet players prefer PS so its fun to me to watch them in high buy in tourneys.
