  1. Save the children

You can look up this organization and others like it on https://www.charitynavigator.org/

This has a lot of information to make you feel good about whatever you decide.

  2. christian childrens fund, I knew someone that volunteered for this organization and it's legit, the money and/or gifts that you send to the child also gets shared among the community so that it doesnt cause any hurt/jealous feelings among the children, you also get a picture and letter or drawing written by the child updating you of whats going on in their life

  3. There are none that can be trusted, they take your money and feed people alot of hot air. Take the time to find a child here in the US that needs help, there are alot of them. Check with different churches that have programs that help children, there are also different medical programs that help children coming in from different parts of the world for medical attention that you could also sponsor if that what you want to do for a child.

  4. i have sponsored children through Compassion International for about 15 years now.  You get to send letters and pictures to your sponsored child and really get to know them, even if it is at a superficial level.  They also are considered very good in terms of the money going to help the children since they have low overhead costs.  You can pick the gender of the child, as well as the country the child lives in.
