I want to sponsor my wife a husbands visa at uae,what are the process and how much?

If an expatriate wants to sponsor his wife and children on a visit visa, he should personally apply at the NRD at the emirate which issued him residency visa.

Papers needed

The papers needed are: passport copies of the applicant as well his wife and children, marriage contract attested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs; attested work contract if working with a private company, or salary certificate if working in the public sector.

The salary of the expatriate should not be less than Dh3,000 per month with accommodation or Dh4,000 per month without accommodation. The applicant need not pay any deposit. He must get an e-gate card.

The e-form application will cost Dh100; another Dh100 if the visa is needed urgently, as well as Dh10 for delivery of the visa through Empost.

Dear Friend

If you wish to bring your family (wife /kids)here under your sponsorship, either it is on visit visa or it is on family resident visa, you must have meet the following conditions;

1. Your salary should be AED3000 and accommodation provided by the company (your Job Contract with MOL should mention this, if you are not working in Govt, or semi-govt companies)

2. Or, Your Gross Salary should be AED 4000 (This also should be on your job contract with MOL, if you are not working in semi/govt companies)

Required Documents & You have to apply the same at NRD (Naturalization Dept) directly.

1. Typed Application Form

2. 2 Photographs

3. Salary Certificate from Employer

4. Original Job Contract with Employer & MOL & a copy

5. Passport Copy of Sponsor (you) and Sponsored (wife or/and kid)

6. Marriage Certificate and/or Birth Certificate duly authenticated by MOFA & Arabic translated.

6. The required fee in e-dirham card (available at NRD)

If you are bringing on visit visa the new visa fees are applicable, but if you are bringing on resident visa, you have to take medical test & health insurance and visa stamping fee in addition.
