Currently I only have a group of about 3 to 4 people who are willing to do this, so if you live in Wisconsin or Illionois please feel free to contact me if your intrested. The location is still being debated, but it's planned for 9-11-2008. If we don't get alot of people it will probably just take place in Menomoee Falls, WI, hopefully in the downtown area.

I'm also planning to try to recruit around my school to gain support. So what else should I do?

Also I'm a liberterian but I'm not sure if we would get into that kind of stuff, but I'm open to ideas.

Thanks for reading!

  1. Since you are a libertarian I would recommend getting a larger libertarian group to back & be associated with your protest as they probably have the resources and support necessary to have a successful (or at least noticable) protest. Then you need to plan and set goals for your protests. Decide what you want to say and why you're saying it. The more specific and well-researched your message is, the more intelligent you sound. Also decide how you are going to get your message across. Are you going to have speakers? Are people going to sign petitions? What kind of signs/ messages will you be displaying?

Also, a good way to raise publicity for events is through Facebook's event application. That's a good way to spread the word to people in your network.

  2. make sure you have enough bail money.

  3. how about a pro USA and military parade instead? The wars been over for 4 years.

  4. Buy a pink suit.

  5. money in case you get arrested

  6. I don't know how much good it would actually do.......Iraq and the U.S. are already in talks about beginning to withdraw troops. They are working on a timetable as to when it will happen.

  7. You can start by making signs that indicate that you do not care if 24 million Iraqi people are ruled by terrorists instead of the government they elected.

How about a sign that says: "Stop the war - I don't care about what the consequences are!"

Or: "Stop the war - I have no clue about what is happening in Iraq!"
