  1. To start a band, you have to be a good player, at whatever instrument you play. Naturally people in bands are in bands because their good.

A good way to find members is to either hold tryouts, or assist gigs to find other people who are interested.

  2. i might start a band when i am on bass i did have the ccc band with my freind he played drums and i played vocals.

i made up my own songs my own songs. try to put a vid on youtube or something or try to find a band manager.

  3. Find out if any of your friends or relatives play an instrument and have them to audition.

You can also place an ad in the paper or MySpace too, but at the same time find out if any of your friends or relatives play an instrument and have them to audition.

I pray that it works out for you.

    Good luck and godbless.

  4. try www.ultimate-guitar..com go to forums, then there is a section called classifieds or something, you can put out a search for band members in your area.

  5. Myspace Definitely..

    put out a search.

Put a section in the newspaper, and hold audtions.

Just go look around! The mall, anywhere really.

    :)

  6. maybe hang flyers around school, the mall, stores, church, etc saying that you want people to audition for a band, and maybe include this on the flyer:

-tell them what kind of music you wanna play

-tell them about yourself, and your experience

-set an audition date, and tell of where it will be

-tell them what instruments need to be played

or post stuff in local newspaper, post bulletins on myspace about it, search around for people around the neighborhood, or even go to someone in a local band, and ask them if they know anyone who could do it.

    goodluck!
