  1. First, contact your school administration for permission and guidelines.

Our high school has a group called "Volunteer Connection" that is run like a club, but they do all kinds of volunteer activities and fund raisers which they then donate to different places.

There's also the "Environmental Club" that focuses on things that help the environment like trash pick up along the highway and cleaning up along the rivers and creeks, etc.

And the high school's Honor Society also has community service activities that their organization does.

  2. Canned food drives!  There are hungry people everywhere, and just about everybody can afford to give a few cans of food to others in need.

  4. i think you must plan first before starting an organization..

you must ask your classmates first, if your idea of starting a charity is a good idea, you should ask because if no one likes it ,., automatically they wouldn't join..

  5. maybe donate money to a children's hospital or charity or an animal shelter. raise money by having a bake sale maybe.

  6. Get homeless drug addicts to come to you cafeteria and feed them your friends lunches. Get to know them a bit, understand them; let them come to the after school activities.

  7. how about setting up a system of volunteers to assist some of the local older people with chores around the home.  such as rakeing leaves and moving snow,  those things that older folks have trouble with, but are not covered by the various service organizations in the community.
