I want to start a group to clean up the environment, help!?

I want to organize a group of my friends from school and friends from my community to pick up trash on the beach and in parks, recycle, and plant new trees in my community. Where do I start? I want to join like an official organization but kind of, start my own chapter in my community. Does anyone know any organizations like Clean up the World? Any other ideas?

I would start posting what you're doing or what you wanna do.  The more info you get out there I'm sure you'll grab more people's attention and probably find an organization through word of mouth.  Good Luck!!  God Bless!!
