I want to start a home based job consultancy... plz help me out how to start up with?

Hi,

I had worked as a recruiter. I have some ideas about job consulting, so I think I can share my ideas.

Space:

As you had mentioned it is better to go for home based. May be you can allocate a room or if you have a room in the upstairs, you can use that also.

Employees:

1. You can take 2 freshers initially as recruiters, who can speak reasonably good English with a salary of 4000 to 5000 rupees.

2. One person like Business development who will meet clients etc; with a salary of 7000 rupees of incentives and

you must always be there to guide and carry out important operations.

3.One office asst (In case if you want - you can have) with a sal of 2000 rupees

Infrastructure:

1. Internet and Phone are the key elements. You must go for Airtel or TATA Indicom or any other company which provides both phone as well as net connection.

2. Next is Database like Naukri.com, monster.com etc; I would recommend you to go for monster.com because of two reasons:

a.) monster is the latest updated database available

b.) monster provides various packages like 7 days for 5000 rupees etc; while naukri.com only as the bundle offer that will cost you around 50000 rupees for 3 months.

3. Chairs + Computers etc; this will not cost you that much, you can of course use second hand computers etc;

Important - Getting Clients:

This is the main thing out in your business.

Prepare a business proposal, develop a website, talk with Hr managers of various companies and ask for an appointment. You along with your business dev executive go and meet him personally and explain about your company - objectives, mission etc; etc; and try to get the orders.

The main objective in your business is closing the requirement.

Work hard and try to do it.

Actually, job consulting is a very good business .. you need some luck from some side. If you so the hard work and luck also favors you then you can do lakhs of lakhs of money every month.
