I want to start a legal radio Station in Boston, MA - How do I get started, I checked the FCC and MBA....?

websites but I'm unable to find any information on this. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated.

  1. I presume you mean a commerical AM or FM broadcast station. As a start check with a Washington, D.C. law firm that deals with commication laws, they will start you in the right direction as far as FCC and FAA laws.  This takes a lot of paper work and money for a commerical broadcast station to start.   I hope this helps.


  2. Depends if you want a commercial or non-profit station.

    However most of the open areas on FM is taken around Boston
