I want to start a little business?

I need some extra income, so I was thinking of starting a business with just myself.

It will be like housekeeping, but more advance.

What all do I need to do so it can be legit. I want to hand out flyers and have the name. I don't really want anyone to steal my idea. I won't have a building and the only way people will be able to pay me is check, cash, or money order.

Its best to go through the legal process to make sure everything is above board. You will need liabilitiy insurance, and for tax id number.

My Aunt is doing the same thing you are thinking of doing. She mainly goes into resturants and some small places and post posters inside of them when allowed and when she got about 20 days into the business she started putting it into the daily paper and made even more profit. And if you have any ideas that could require copyright  than copyright it. And you arn't the only one with this idea so proboly nobody will steal it ;p.
