  1. It's not too late. Your still young!

  2. Start with taking classes and move your way to the top!

    Its never to late. =)

  3. It is definitely not to late, but you have to realize that there are girls who will be auditioning for ballet schools who have been doing it since they were three-years-old! You will have to work three times as hard as anyone else in order to achieve your dream. If you really want it, you can find a way to accomplish it. Taking proper lessons outside of your school will help your technique, extensions, etc improve more rapidly than just dancing at school. Find a focused and technical ballet school. Keep your eye on the prize!

  4. i was 13 when i started ballet and 14 going on pointe. you can still start ballet. what i did was i took a few private ballet lessons to work on the basics and then i went ahead into a pre-pointe class. the first two months were difficult but i finally got the hang of it. i would also recommend looking at the link to the abt ballet dictionary i am including at the bottom to learn some terms (which was the mistake i made by not knowing them) good luck and have fun!

  5. i am 13 nearly 14 and stated a while ago and have the same dream as you

so do it who knows you could be in swan lake or gisel (i wont be able to spell it thought!)lol good luck

any questions and you can aSK ME

  7. If you love what you're doing then it's never too late! so now... the question is... do you love doing it? There's no way of finding out but to start now!

  8. i suggest taking proper lessons now than -- you'll be surprised how many adults only start taking lessons when they hit 25 or something. and who knows, you might be better than someone who's had lessons for about 7 or 8 years.

it's not too late,  believe me... you're only 14. look into proper weekly lessons and i'm sure you'll be all right.
