  1. I reakon u just have to be good at it. good luck if u do

  2. Doesnt matter about your weight, if I were you I would keep lifting weights, drink 4 raw eggs a day before you work out too, get off yahoo answers, stop reading my answer and make sure you dont go semi-retarted or paralysed by time your 30 and still boxing in tournaments.

  3. Enjoy being mentally retarded when you turn 35.

  4. good, desire to box is the first step.  you are never to late to start boxing, though i do think it is good to start sooner then later.  first thing, look up your local boxing clubs, find one, and go check it out.  155 is heavy for 5'3 i think, but no worries, if your good your good, and you will definitely slim down after training for a month or two.

but yea, if your wanting to compete in tournaments, your gonna have to make boxing one of your top focuses.  run almost every day, go to the gym every day its open (this i think is important, cuz it shows the ppl there that you are dedicated, and they will want to invest more effort and time in you - thus you ll be a better boxer)  also have to make good food choices to compliment your training.

get to it, i think there is a tournament "Ring Side" in  August i think.... good luck and have fun!  good choice of sport ;) peace an God Bless...

  5. You and every other teenager that comes on here wants to start to "box". I will give you some free advise you wont learn how to box by coming in here asking.

  6. Just find a gym and once you sign up your trainer will tell you exactly what you need to do.

  7. Go for it. I started when I was 17 and now im 19 and have won 3 out of the 5 tournaments I have competed in. Good Luck.

  8. Think long and hard before you get into boxing.  It is a rough sport, and you will take a lot of hits to the head.  And that ain't good for you.....one punch can kill.
