I know about a few championships, like the three nations and the six nations. But which league is the best? I'm guessing it's the Guinness Premiership, but that's just based on the English Premier League being the best for football.

  1. Super 14

  2. hey you should bypass all that cr8p and if you are very good at rugby,

give a try at american football NFL,

they pay you millions and respect you for years to come.

  3. the super 14 is the toughest /best rugby comp in the world dont even bother with northern hemisphere old man rugby

  4. Super 14 by a long shot, the European leagues are a retirement plan for the southern hemisphere players to collect a big payday in thier twilight years. For skill and pace of the game the super 14 cannot be beat. Not all forwards and one or two off the ruck running of the ball.

  5. 1. Super 14

    2. Heineken Cup

    3. The Guinness Premiership

    4. Top 14 (French League)

    5. The Magners League

  6. In International Rugby it is easily the Tri-Nations. Of the 6 Rugby World Cups so far 5 have been won by Tri Nations teams. According to the IRB Rankings 3 of the Top 4 nations in the World play in the Tri Nations (as opposed to no 6 Nations sides). The 6 Nations is also a high quality comp - but  Italy and Scotland do drag down the standard. In domestic rugby the Super 14 is ahead by far. All Tri Nations players play in the Super 14 competition. The Heineken Cup is also a good competions - featuring the best teams from the Irish/Welsh/Scottish/English/French/Ital... competitions.
