I want to start import export business. How can it be started? I have USD 25000 to start with. Please suggest.

My base is in New Delhi. I am working in a MNC as Technical Site Manager. I have been to Italy, France, Iran, China, Taiwan & United Kingdom. I am a Mechanical Engineer by profession.

YOu can visit the commerce ministry office sometime there you would find lots of information to choose from else you can also visit their web-site.

Since you are in India it will be difficult for you to import due to the strict gov. foreign policy, but you should be able to export easily.

Find product and then buyer, Try US. Basically you will find buyer for any product in US.

I think the best choice will be like cheap memory cards for digital cameras. Try it out on E bay and see if you can find buyer.

See if you can set up a deal with someone else to export them to the US.
