I want to start my own business so how can I find out if the name that I want to use is available for free?

If you live in the USA..............Each State has a  "business names registration " system, so that a new business name can be checked to see if the same name  or a similar name is all ready in use.

Do a Google search for YOUR state and find out.

One way to be fairly sure   that a name will be approved, is to  use your personal  name in the business name eg............John H Smith Enterprises.......

Type the name of your company into google and see if there is a company come up if not you should be fine
